Medical Claw Enclosed Systems

Models MCED, MCET, MCEQ, MCEP, MCEH

Our industry-first enclosed claw vacuum system decreases noise levels, allowing the vacuum system to be installed right at the point of use. Perfect when paired with our enclosed air systems, offering the lowest noise levels on the market. The claw pump design is extremely efficient and has very low maintenance cost; because there is no actual contact between the rotors and the cylinder wall, parts that need replacing or required maintenance is minimized.

The patented innovative sound enclosure reduces the vacuum pump sound intensity by 4-5 times, which allows all Powerex WhisperVAC™ systems to safely fall in within the NIOSH 8 hour exposure limit. The reduced sound levels also allows for greater flexibility in system placement since there is less nuisance risk for patients and hospital staff.

FEATURES:

• Lowest noise level on the market

• Most energy efficient technology

• Oil-free compression chamber

• Extremely low maintenance

• No water or sewage costs

• Suitable for WAGD applications

• Air cooled

• Fits through a 36” door

• Standard outlet muffler provided

• Maintenance friendly

• Easy to remove latched panels

• Isolator bolt elevator rail for lower pump removal

Medical Lubricated Vane Enclosed Systems

Models MVED, MVET, MVEQ

Our enclosed lubricated vane vacuum system decreases noise levels, allowing the vacuum system to be installed right at the point of use. Perfect when paired with our enclosed air systems, offering the lowest noise levels on the market. The lubrication from the oil in this pump results in higher efficiencies, lower operating temperatures and lower sound levels than oil-less designs. The lubricated vane design also results in the highest ultimate vacuum levels of all the vacuum technologies.

• Extremely reliable

• Highest ultimate vacuum levels

• Long vane life

• No water and sewage costs

• Fits through a 36” door

• Maintenance friendly

• Easy to remove latched panels

• Isolator bolt elevator rail for lower pump removal

Medical Oil-less Vane Open Systems

Models VVOTD, VOTD, VOPD, VOPT, VOPQ

This is a cost-effective solution for applications where oil is not desirable. The simple design requires less routine maintenance than an oil-flooded pump and has a lower initial cost compared to other dry pump designs.

FEATURES:

• No oil anywhere

• Long vane life

• No water and sewage costs

• Suitable for dedicated waste anesthesia systems

• Expandable configurations for skid mounted systems up to quadplex

• Fully compliant with NFPA 99

• Manufactured in ISO 9001:2015 certified facilities

Medical Vacuum Filter

NFPA 99 2018 compliant medical vacuum filter assemblies

Powerex Medical Vacuum Filter Assemblies are designed to protect the service professionals who perform maintenance on the vacuum units. The filters remove solid, liquid, and bacterial contamination as small as 0.3 micron with 99.995% efficiency through HEPA-grade filters.

These units must be used in conjunction with a medical vacuum system to be compliant with the 2018 revision of NFPA 99 (5.1.3.7.4), which requires the addition of inlet bacteriologic filtration at the medical vacuum source.

FEATURES:

• Multiple filters mounted to a metal frame

• Single point connections for inlet and outlet pipes

• Isolation valves on source side and patient side for each filter

• Clear Borosil glass flask to easily detect liquid accumulation

• Filter units also meet ISO 7396-1 and HTM 02-01*
