Sheila Patton

Contract Manager, IAC

On October 5, 1996 I met George Burch and Dave Suder in an empty office space, with nothing but 2 folding chairs and a 5 gal bucket of compressor fluid for a table. That was a momentous day in my life – the start of 22+ years with Industrial Air Centers. Dave and I opened the Cincinnati Branch of IAC – from the beginning with used office furniture to adding a salesman and a service technician. We both wore many hats during those first years. It was a great opportunity for me to learn all aspects of the business – service, parts, equipment sales, rentals, accounting.

As we grew and added more people, I devoted my time to the service side of the business - scheduling service, ordering parts for jobs, working with the service techs, working with the customers, billing the service jobs.

Three times over the years, we have installed new computer systems. We could actually stop scheduling manually and hand writing job tickets! In 2005 I moved on to specialize in project management. I was able to travel to our 5 branches and train people in using our Computer programs. When a problem arose at a branch, I was able to travel to that branch to help work it out.

In 2009 IAC developed Service Contracts and a specialized Quote Program to generate the Contracts. Another challenge to help develop. At the present time I am the Contract Manager for IAC, working with customers, IAC Area Managers and Service Managers to provide and renew and maintain Service Care Contracts. As you can see, I love a challenge! And I am definitely a “stick with it” kind of person! My husband of 27 years, Wally, and I love camping, motorcycling and spending time with our grandkids. I love gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, the beach – I am not a “sit around” kind of person. And I love IAC. If I can be of help, you can reach me at spatton@iacserv.com or call me at 513-200-2082.
