The Altec AIR HLD Series is a low dew point, heatless regenerative desiccant dryer built to protect compressed air systems that require exceptionally dry air. This model is rated for 100 SCFM and is engineered to deliver -100°F (Pressure Dew Point) air to help reduce corrosion, freezing, and moisture-driven contamination in downstream tools, valves, controls, and process equipment.
The HLD design alternates between two desiccant towers: one tower dries compressed air through adsorption while the other regenerates automatically using a controlled purge of dry air. This continuous adsorption/regeneration cycle supports consistent dry air delivery without external heaters and is packaged for straightforward installation.
EcoTronic option (as configured): Includes Altec AIR’s EcoTronic Energy Management System (dew point demand control) to help reduce purge air consumption during lower demand periods while maintaining low dew point air performance.
